Attention entrepreneurs and small business owners! Are you planning a business venture or trying to get your startup off the ground? Join Linda Williams, Economic Development Specialist at the Small Business Administration’s DFW office, for a four-part Business 101 series at the Bedford Public Library. Online registration is encouraged for each class but not required. See series dates and class content below. All classes are 1:00-2:30pm.

  • Monday, Sept. 30:  Learn how to conduct market research and competitive analyses.
  • Monday, Oct. 7:  Learn how to create your business plan.
  • Monday, Oct. 21:  Learn ways to fund your business.
  • Monday, Nov. 4:  Learn about SBA’s Business Smart Toolkit.

 Linda Williams serves the Dallas/Fort Worth District Office as an Economic Development Specialist.  She joined SBA in 2001 and has also held positions as a loan specialist and as a lender relations specialist.  Prior to joining SBA she held marketing and sales management positions in the publishing and health care industries. Earning a Master of Business Administration degree from Dallas Baptist University, she taught as an adjunct professor in the undergraduate business program. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the University of Texas at Arlington and is well known for her workshops and webinars for entrepreneurs.
