You've got a great idea. Now make a plan and turn it into a great business. Join Linda Williams, Economic Development Specialist at the Small Business Administration’s DFW office, for a two-day business planning series. Online registration is encouraged but not required. See the class schedule and content below.

10 - 11 a.m. | Fund Your Business:  It costs money to start a business. Funding your business is one of the first - and most important - financial choices most business owners make. How you choose to fund your business could affect how you structure and run your business.

11 a.m. - 12 p.m. | Buy an Existing Franchise or Business:  Starting a business from scratch can be challenging. Franchising or buying an existing business can simplify the initial planning process.

 

Presenter information:

Linda Williams serves the Dallas/Fort Worth District Office as an Economic Development Specialist.  She joined SBA in 2001 and has also held positions as a loan specialist and as a lender relations specialist.  Prior to joining SBA she held marketing and sales management positions in the publishing and health care industries. Earning a Master of Business Administration degree from Dallas Baptist University, she taught as an adjunct professor in the undergraduate business program. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from the University of Texas at Arlington and is well known for her workshops and webinars for entrepreneurs.
